- Correct player size. The 2009/2010 season was the last season that adidas sized player issued shirts with letter sizing (S,M,L etc), before moving to number sizing from the 2010/2011 season onward.
- Sponsorless. The European sponsor and the domestic sponsor are two different sizes, this is due to UEFA regulations on sponsor sizing in UEFA competitions. The European sponsor was smaller, so player shirts were shipped to LFC without sponsors, for the kitman to apply the correct size sponsor based on the competition each shirt was to be used in.
